Safety Instructions
SKATEBOARDING SAFETYINSTRUCTIONS
-Skate only in designated areas where you can enhance your skills, avoiding sidewalks or streets where serious accidents can occur to both skateboarders and pedestrians. -Children under the age of 8 should always be supervised while skateboarding.
-Take your time to learn. If you start losing balance, step off and begin again. Begin with gentle slopes and gradually progress to steeper slopes where you can safely dismount without falling.
-Most skateboard injuries involve broken bones, so it's important to learn how to fall properly (such as rolling if possible) without the skateboard first.
-When starting to learn skateboarding, it's advisable to do it with a friend or parent. The majority of severe accidents happen during the initial month.
-Before dismounting, be aware of the potential path the skateboard may take, as it could cause harm to others.
-Avoid skateboarding on wet or uneven surfaces.
-Join a local club to expand your knowledge and demonstrate your commitment to skateboarding safely and considerately.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USAGE
-Sticky Slats are designed for transportation purposes and should not be used in skateparks or for performing complex skateboarding tricks.
-Follow all traffic and pedestrian regulations, and use suitable surfaces that are flat, clean, dry, and preferably away from other road users.
-Wear appropriate safety gear, including hand/wrist protection, elbow protection, and a helmet.
-Regularly check and ensure that the trucks are adjusted correctly and all nuts and bolts are tightly secured, as they may loosen over time.
-Do not make any modifications to your skateboard that could compromise safety.
-Master how to stop your skateboard before engaging in skating activities.
